Canteen Convener – Virginia State School Swim Club

Virginia State School Swim Club is seeking a reliable and organised Canteen Convener to manage our swim club canteen for Term 4 and Term 1.

This is a paid position (approximately 10 hours per week), with pay in line with the P&C Queensland Tuckshop Convener Award

Key responsibilities:

* Oversee day-to-day canteen operations during swim club (term 1 & 4).
* Food preparation and service
* Stock ordering and basic inventory management
* Maintain food safety and hygiene standards
* Coordinate volunteers where required

About you:

* Well organised and able to work independently
* Friendly and community-minded
* Experience in food handling or canteen operations (preferred but not essential)
