Working Bee 🐝 Success
Thank you to the wonderful volunteers who came along yesterday to spruce up the pool area prior to the start of the season. Your time and efforts are gratefully appreciated. Thank you!

Term 4 Swimming starts back this week!
If you are uncertain of your child’s swimming time, please check the schedule on TeamApp or alternatively email Karen on the Coordinator email.
If you are using YMCA, please ensure that you have completed the appropriate paperwork to allow your child to attend.

Friday Night Club is Back THIS FRIDAY!
Our ever popular Friday Night Club is back from this Friday. We welcome new families to come and have a go and we welcome back our continuing swimmers.
Nominations for events are required PRIOR to the night and can be submitted by the online form on TeamApp. New swimmers and visitors are always welcome and we can register them on the night – before 5:55pm.
Children must be accompanied by a supervising adult.
Gates open 5:30pm, warmup 5:45pm-6pm. First event 6:15pm.

Club Captain Nominations
This year we are seeking up to FOUR Club Captains from Year 4 and above. Nominations are invited from interested swimmers by Friday night 10/10/2025 8pm.
If your swimmer is interested please email the club – vsssclub@ gmail.com

If required, a short 1 minute speech and voting will occur on week 3 Friday Night Club – 24/10/2025.

Upcoming Carnivals
25/10/2025 KLM Shield – this is a selected carnival – if your child is interested in participating, it is VITAL that they attend the first Friday Club Night.

Volunteering Opportunities
As you know, community clubs such as ours only run because of volunteer power. It is expected that every family contribute their volunteer power in some way throughout the season.

This year our canteen will run a little differently. We are seeking a small group of parents to assist with canteen prep as their volunteering time.
- Friday afternoon 4pm-5:30pm (ish)
- Food prep

Our other usual volunteer roles include canteen, BBQ Maestro, Timekeepers, Marshal and assistant, Announcer, recorder – computer, Referees.

Don’t forget that Timekeepers compete for the Smiley awards at the end of season.
