Start of Pre-racing Season & Squad Training Schedule

Dear Squad Swimmers and Parents,

I hope everyone is doing well. After a refreshing 10-week off-season, it’s time for us all to get back in the water! This is truly the best time of year for our squad swimmers as we prepare for the upcoming racing season.

The start of Term 4 signals the beginning of our racing calendar and gives us seven weeks to return to training, polish our skills, and fine-tune our techniques. For those swimmers who trained through the winter season, you should already see and feel improvements in your skills and speed. The next few weeks will add that extra strength we need to make the most out of the racing season.

If you took a break to focus on other sports, now is the perfect opportunity to jump back in the pool and transfer your fitness gains into swimming. We encourage everyone to get involved and make this season count!

We’ve had an outstanding turnout with the Queensland/Brisbane affiliated team, and we always look forward to welcoming more swimmers. If you’re interested in joining the affiliated team or have any questions, please don’t hesitate to speak with me for more details.

Starting tomorrow, 18th August, our squad schedule will be as follows:
Morning Squads
• Sharks: Thursday7:30am–8:15am, Saturday 8.00am-9.00am
• Mini Squads: Monday–Friday 7:00am 8:30am
• Skills & Development Squad: Monday-Friday 7:00am–8:30am
• Bronze Squad: Monday-Friday 7:00am-8:30am
• Gold Squad: Monday-Friday 5:30am–7:00am

Afternoon Squads
• Sharks: Monday–Thursday 3:15pm–4:00pm
• Mini Squads: Monday–Thursday 3:15pm–4:00pm
• Skills & Development Squad: Monday–Thursday 4:00pm–5:00pm
• Bronze Squad: Monday–Thursday 5:00pm–6:30pm
• Gold Squad: Monday–Thursday 5:00pm–6:30pm
