It is time again for our Club Championships, this event is the culmination of our club season. The champs are divided into a two half day program as we have so many events to cover.

In most cases swimmers will be swimming in a seperate boys and girls event in their year of birth age group, where appropriate we will merge events, distance events are split into 10 and under, 11 to 13 and 14 to 16.

Our canteen will be operating both days for refreshments, this event is hosted during the day so please bring sunscreen adequate sun protection and plenty of water. Don’t forget to regularly reapply sunscreen throughout the day.

This is a big event and we require a lot of help so we will allocate volunteer roles to parents to make the 2 day event run smoother

Important Rules:
Rules:
1. Swimmers Must wear swim caps at all times. Do not remove them until you have exited the water.
2. No watches are to be worn in the pool.
3. Swimmers Must go to marshalling immediately when events are called and remain seated until instructed to move up to the deep end. 2 call rule if the swimmer is a no-show to marshalling there is no swim for that swimmer.
4. Swimmers are also to remain quiet at the deep end of the pool to be courteous to fellow swimmers waiting to hear the starter’s instructions.
5. Dive-over starts. The swimmers in the water are to hold the backstroke start bar and remain quiet and stationary hugging the wall.
6. Obstructing another swimmer or interfering shall disqualify the offender.
7. Swimmers must exit the pool via the side ladders immediately once instructed to do so. No Exiting at the ends of the pool.
8. Swimmers are not to crowd, lean or sit on the computer operators’ tables.
9. Swimmers are not to obstruct the judges by crowding the ends of the pool while events are happening.
